so-called oxo-degradable plastic bags that the
government started banning on April 22, 2024. They do not contain any
traditional plastics such as PE/PO/PP, nor do they contain PLA/PHB.
Furthermore, they do not require oxidation to degrade. These bags are called
EnbioBags, a green, low-carbon, and environmentally friendly product
primarily made from non-food plant starch. It means that they can biodegrade
in nature automatically (without the need for prior light or oxidation
treatment which is banned by government now). They have already passed the
following tests and obtained certificates: HS2001 (Hong Kong) EN13432 (European Union) ASTM D6400 (North America) GBT19277 (China) ISO14855 (International) Test results from international
testing agencies have shown that the product's biodegradability, compostable,
heavy metal content, and other aspects meet the stringent requirements of
authoritative institutions in the European Union and the United States. |
